CAMP...here I come!!!

I am leaving to go work at camp today!!!! I have spent all week trying to get things ready to go and trying to make sure I don't forget anything! That would be the reason I haven't posted all week!

I will be writing from time to time (once a week probably) to update you all on how God is moving up at camp! So keep an eye out for updates and pictures!

Please be praying hard this summer for the following:

-Me (as I tend to get home sick)

-all the kids as they interact with God in awesome amazing ways!

-The staff, as it is a fulltime job that can be a struggle at times! Pray that we will stay in tune with God, healthy, and energetic!

Take me out to the ballgame!

So it was quite the busy weekend for me! On Saturday I went shopping in the morning with Adam and my mom. We went to old navy for there 1 dollar flip flop sale! It opens at 8:30 and we got there at 8:35 and not even kidding you there were probably 150 people already in line to but flip flops!!! You could only buy five so we made Adam buy some for us! One lady made her five year old son buy some....it was insane! Adam told me that this is what Hell must be like! haha

Then Adam's girlfriend Amy came to our house for the night. She is really nice and we got along great! Adam, Amy, and I went Geocacheing. It is kinda hard to explain so if you want you should definatly check out this website! It is sweet! http://www.geocaching.com/

We had a really good dinner with grilled chicken, baked potatoes, grilled veggies, and strawberry shortcake! it was really good! we then played Popfive. That was really fun! The kids beat the parents!

On Sunday, our church had service at the ballpark! It was really neat! We all sat on the infield. Here are some pictures that I took:

Later after Amy left, We went to see Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. It was really good! There were a lot of famous cameos and it was really funny! We then had a late dinner at applebees (my favorite!) Over all it was a really good last weekend home!

Field Day....Balloon Butt Popping!

Today I volunteered to help with the elementary school field day! It was super funny. I ran the 1 and second grade balloon popping relay. There were two teams and one at a time they had to run down and sit on their balloon to make it pop! It was hilarious!! Some kids hated the sound so they would plug their ears while trying to pop their balloon. Some of the kids were really little so it was hard for them to pop their balloons...it made me laugh! One of the kids goes to my church and he was sitting on the blacktop with some of his first grade friends making faces at me and calling my name when my back was turned and acting like it wasn't him who was doing it. The boys were laughing and laughing! So I marched over there acting like i was mad and they immediately stopped laughing and their faces looked terrified. But when they realized that I was kidding they thought it was so funny!

Also Adam and i were walking in the kindergarten hallway and this little girl looked up at him and said, "WOW, your really tall!" it made me laugh because Adam didn't really know what to say!

It was an interesting and funny morning to say the least! Tonight Adam and I are helping my mom work the concession stand at the ball diamond. I will probably be super bored. Also SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE starts tonight!!!! WAHOOOO!!!

Today as I was checking my facebook (which I do far to often) I had a wall post from one of my friends and future aPARTYment dweller that said "I am going to read your blog right this second. It better be good." I immediatly thought oh no..it probably does not meet the standards of good! So I dedicate todays post to CARRIE JEANNE.

Home Sweet home!

I am offically home sweet home!!! it is kinda bittersweet because I love my friends from school, but i also am super excited to leave for camp in two weeks and be with my camp friends! I am going to try and enjoy being at home and doing nothing for those two weeks...but it will be difficult seeing as i have a lot to get done before camp!

I came home to a little surprise yesterday....MY NEW CAMERA!!!! Now the new battery hasnt come in yet so i can't post any pictures up yet but here is what my camera looks like:

Frustration

Today has not been a good day! And it is only noon.... I slept through my alarm and missed my first class, I had a curling iron incident, I got a test back that wasn't too good of a grade, and I got two papers back that I wasn't happy with the grades. On top of that I am in one of those moods where everything makes me want to cry (which doesnt happen often cuz i hate crying). It just is not a good day for me.

I'm tired of being at school. Don't get me wrong I love HU, but it is time to get away from here for a while. Every little thing is bugging me and I just want people to mind their own business when it comes to certain things. What I choose to do is my business and no one elses. It just is frustrating sometimes (more so towards the end of the year).

Thats about it. Pray that my day goes better.

Friday should be called Funday!

So on Fridays I only have two classes...one at 8 and one at 10. That leaves me an hour in between that I like to spend in the science hall computer lab, which is where I am now! Today I am headed on for some relaxing and working on a project. It should be glorious! I feel bad going home every weekend lately but let's face it I only have two weeks at home before I head 6 hours away for the rest of the summer!

Only a week and a half left!!! I am super pumped and hope it goes fast! I need to be done because everything lately has been annoying me and I don't like that! I want to spend some time doing nothing!
