Roush 2nd Challenge

Last night Carrie, my RA, challenged our floor to find something to do for lent that would indivdually challenge us to grow spiritually. I had some trouble trying to think of what I was going to do...and then it came to me in a bathroom stall! Literally! The stall in our bathroom has a bible verse that we put up on it. Hebrews 10:24 which the message translation says, "Let's see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out." I realized that encouragment was something I struggled with.
The challenge that I came up with for myself: To spend ten minutes a day praying for a specific person in my life and then writing them an encouraging note.
This will be a challenge for me because I find myself craving encouragment from others but not really giving others encouragement. Be praying for me as I grow in the Lord!
